Fee structure

PMC directs the fee structure of medical colleges. According to their policy the MBBS first year fee is 13 lakhs. This fee includes insurance and entry fee. Thereafter, from the second year to the years below, the fee structure for MBBS will be 20 lakhs.

Admission 2023

For admission in medical colleges in Islamabad, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University is the admission university. Admission for 2023 is now open, while the closing date for entries is 17 August 2023. Merit list will be displayed online and on campus after completion of admission.

Admission process in private colleges of Islamabad is online. You have to submit all required documents and forms online through their admission portal.

Documents required for admission

To complete the admission application, you will need all the required documents.

For Local Open Merit Seats

For local and open merit seats, you will need the following documents.

  1. Attested copy of Matriculation (SSC) Certificate or Result Card, O Level Equivalent Certificate etc.
  2. One (l) attested copy of HSSC Pre-MedicaI Result Card issued by concerned BISE 2nd Class Equivalence Certificate etc. One (I) copy/attested copy of mark sheet of A level/12th grade etc. issued. Foreign Qualification) issued by the concerned SCAM/Board
  3. A certified copy of Pakistan Province/Territory Result Card Admission Test (MDCAT-2023).
  4. One (1) attested copy of the domicile certificate of the candidate.
  5. One (1) attested copy of CNIC/E-FornüSmart Card of the candidate.
  6. One (1) attested copy of CNIC of father/guardian
  7. A recent color passport size photograph
  8. One (1) attested copy of Quran memorization certificate issued by a registered seminary (only for candidates who claim Quran memorization)

Foreign/Overseas Seats

For foreigners and foreign seats, you will need the following documents.

  1. One (1) attested copy of O-Level Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC
  2. One (1) attested copy of A-Level Equivalency Certificate from IBCC.
  3. The candidate should have studied and passed the examination or equivalent examination from a foreign country.
  4. One (1) attested copy of the certificate last imported from a foreign country.
  5. One (1) certified copy of a foreign SAT II test passed with a minimum score of 550 in each of three subjects, i.e. Physics/Math or a foreign MCAT with a minimum score of 500.
  6. One (1) attested copy of the candidate’s current valid Card / Passport / NlClNlCOP / PIC.
  7. One (1) attested copy of current valid C ICOP / POC Father / Guardian.
  8. One (1) recent color passport size photograph of the candidate.
  9. One (1) attested copy of Quran memorization certificate issued by a registered seminary (only for candidates who claim to be a Quran memoriser).

Eligibility Criteria

PMC also sets eligibility criteria for medical colleges in Islamabad. As per their policy, only those candidates will be eligible for admission who appear in any provisional entry test. Further, the candidate should have 40% marks in Entry Test and 60% marks in Intermediate. Otherwise, below this percentage, you will not be eligible for admission.
